Our Wise Account (comes with a card) has saved us a lot of money in fees and we get alerts when watching the exchange rates as they rise and fall.

Personal Experience: Took a cruise on Royal Caribbean.  Kept an eye on rate and transferred each time we were notified about a 'best rate'.  We then assigned our Wise card to our onboard account and withdrew our money from the casino's pokie machines (charged back to our room) rather than from the ATM.  Savings over approx. $24USD per transaction as RC settle your card/account at the end of your trip.
